Visual Stories

Photography has greatly instilled so much learning and wisdom to my life. This craft is not just an expression of myself, but rather has become a way of life. Being out there on streets, public markets or less traveled places that are out of my comfort zone, and to be able to hear inspiring stories from random people is a very life changing experience for me. It has opened up my eyes on many different things.

I hope through my visual stories I am able to share my positive  experience with you and be inspired from them.

"THE CALM AFTER THE STORM"

—When the day comes to an end, beautiful pinkish hued skies always show up in Cebu City. It has been like that since the aftermath of super typhoon Odette/Rai.
Truly life can give us many colors, while we were just just recovering from the pandemic stress, we were tested again when the super typhoon wrecked havoc many lives.
But at the end of it all, we maybe shakened, but not fallen like this tree standing still, ready to move forward again

Do you ever wonder why the sky sometimes looks purple?

A little trivia, it is because of moisture.
“The Rayleigh Scattering occurs when heavy rains rid the atmosphere of larger particles that abord most light. What's left are smaller particles that scatter the light in all directions.”

Here is a crescent moon in purple and yellow sky taken at my home using Canon 200Dii.

"PANDEMIC DIARIES"

Day 263: Each of us wear a mask of hope and courage in any road of uncertainty.
An uncertainty such as the pandemic we are in has turned our lives upside down.
There's fear and worries as days pass. But as they pass, the stronger we get too. Each day is a turning point/a learning experience. We learn to be more resilient than ever.
Resilience is just within us. Let us embrace it as we continue the journey of so-called human experience/ so-called life.
